Lee's Automotive has been serving the community for decades, with roots dating back to 1982 when Lee first opened his repair shop in Marietta, Georgia. In 1989, he purchased the current property in Woodstock, Georgia and relocated the business, officially establishing what is known today as Lee's Automotive.
The property looked very different back then. The lot was filled with junk vehicles scattered about, and the front parking lot area was nothing more than dirt. Every time it rained, mud would wash into the shop bays, and Lee often found himself shoveling it back out before he could get to work. It was a challenging beginning, but he saw the potential and was determined to build something special.
As the business grew, Lee hired additional technicians and worked alongside his two sons, creating a true family operated shop. Through hard work, dedication, and a commitment to honest repairs, Lee's Automotive transformed from a project into a trusted name in the automotive community. Within just a few years, the shop had earned a strong reputation throughout the local community.
The property was also home to another family business. Lee's wife owned and operated a flower shop and greenhouse behind the repair facility called Indigo Growers. The small building that housed the flower shop still stands on the property today, serving as a reminder of the family's history and the hard work that helped shape Lee's Automotive into what it is today.
More than 40 years after Lee first entered the automotive industry, the values that built the business, honesty, quality repairs, and treating customers like family, continue to guide Lee's Automotive everyday.
